Vertical baling presses –
specifically for PET bottles and aluminium cans
For high return volumes, especially in larger retail stores or shopping centres, it is worthwhile to compress pre-compacted bottles on-site into compact, easy-to-transport bales.
Vertical baling presses are ideal for this purpose as they require very little space and produce bales weighing up to 350 kg (PET bottles). The PET bottles, reduced in volume by up to 90 %, can then be easily transported to a central warehouse or another collection point and sent for recycling.

If particularly large volumes occur regularly, HSM offers the optimal solution with fully automatic channel baling presses for different throughput capacities. These systems are usually individually adapted to the local conditions and often supplemented by feeding systems such as conveyor belts or upstream perforators for the destruction and pre-compaction of bottles and cans not collected by deposit return machines. The experienced HSM specialists manage the projects on-site from the very beginning and provide comprehensive support and service.
