HSM have recognised after sales service as a core competency and so have decided to bring all service and maintenance work in-house. As a result, KSM, the company previously providing after sales service for the Office Technology division has been brought into HSM UK, with their management and staff joining the HSM team.
HSM have been very pleased with the service previously provided by Richard and Karen Kirkham as KSM. The standard of customer satisfaction has been very high and so this can be expected to continue under the new arrangement. Richard Kirkham will take on the new position of Service Manager, whilst Karen will have responsibility for day-to-day co-ordination of the after-sales team.
The new division will comprise of six engineers, two for Office Technology products and four on the Environment Technology equipment. However, all will be cross-trained to provide a very flexible team that can respond rapidly to customer’s requirements.
Formation of the new service division and the in-sourcing of KSM further confirms HSM’s commitment to the UK market.
