What to do with all that waste corrugated cardboard? Of course you can recycle it. However, you can also now turn it into useful packaging material. The HSM ProfiPack machines convert waste corrugated cardboard into a perforated mat with an airy, meshed structure.

The sheet material created is ideal for use as packaging pads and space filler. Also for wrapping and/or protecting sensitive and fragile items from damage during transport. The ProfiPack reduces the need to purchase packaging material, so saving money, whilst also reducing disposal costs.
With the increase in landfill costs and the onus on industry and commerce to recycle, the ProfiPack is an excellent way of making your contribution to both the environment whilst reducing your costs. The matting produced by the ProfiPack can even be reused.

Up to three layers of corrugated cardboard can be converted at the same time and at a rate of 12 metres per minute using the ProfiPack 425. Meanwhile, the lower cost ProfiPack 400 will convert a single layer of cardboard at 10 metres per minute and operates from a single-phase power supply.

Both machines featured hardened perforating rollers that will easily handle staples or similar. The width of material required can be set and the ProfiPack will then cut to size. The machines can also handle larger sheets of cardboard than their throat width.
