About EOSA

The European Office Supplies Alliance (EOSA) was founded in 2002 as a marketingorganisation for office material suppliers in Europe. The aim of the alliance is to combine all their business activities. In fact, the EOSA operates globally, although all the alliance members are independent companies and are leading providers in their own countries. The EOSA acts as a virtual global entity for customers and suppliers and coordinates marketing, sales and purchasing activities.

The combined profits of all the eleven EOSA partners amounted to roughly 750 million euros in 2007. Solid commercial activities in over 16 European countries means that the alliance plays a major role in the office supplies business.

On January 1st 2008, EOSA became a member of BPGI: Business Products Group International was formed to amalgamate independent dealers of office supplies and their sales organisations. The strength of the consortium is conveyed in its slogan Global Purchasing Power which is also the maxim – the strength to buy globally. BPGI is based in Washington D.C. in the USA and is the world's largest consortium of buying groups, consisting solely of independent office supplies dealers.
