2008-02-19 - HSM wins ISPA Award 2008

ISPA, the international stationery press association, once again presented its awards to five companies at the Paperworld in Frankfurt in various categories for innovative stationery and office supplies.

The ISPA Awards for each category were presented during a ceremony on the Friday evening of the Paperworld fair in the presentation forum in Hall 3.0. Jürg Kühni, the ISPA President for Stationery and Office Products in Switzerland, presented the prizes in the presence of the ISPA members. The awards were presented in each of five categories: writing instruments, office supplies, school items, social stationery and computer accessories.

The international “Product Of The Year” award in the office supplies category went to HSM with its SECURIO B24 document shredder. With the B24, HSM has developed a document shredder that not only stands out through its design, but also through its intelligent EMCS energy management system, which saves up to 70% of power consumption compared to a conventional standby circuit.
The ISPA Awards at the Paperworld are intended above all to support PBS companies, so that even more innovative products are made accessible to the wider public. The factors assessed included the innovative character of the products, the price, environmental compatibility, user-friendliness, packaging and presentation.
The awards were first presented in 1993.
