2008-01-18 - HSM returns to the LogiMAT in Stuttgart

HSM will take part for the second time at the LogiMAT, the international trade fair for distribution, material and information flow, which is being held for the sixth time in Stuttgart from 19 to 21 February 2008. The focus of the LogiMAT is on optimising and increasing the efficiency of internal material flow and IT management, from procurement via production through to shipping. HSM Pressen GmbH + Co. KG, the Salem-based manufacturer of document shredders, cutting machines and baling presses will be presenting the fascinating new machines from its product range in hall 8, stand 610.

   HSM V-Press 860

The V-Press 860 max vertical baling press, with a pressing force of 532 kN, is the highlight at the 35 m² HSM stand. The max version is the highest level in the V-Press series and is equipped with a sliding door with a hydraulic lock and an extra cover. HSM TSC (Torsion Control System) ensures the angle of the press ram is monitored continuously. This is installed in all models to prevent one-sided loads from occurring and optimise the pressing cycle. Some models have several special features, such as the automatic start once the doors are closed, followed by a fully automatic pressing cycle. When the pressing procedure comes to an end the sliding door opens automatically.

      HSM ProfiPack 425

The HSM ProfiPack 425 cardboard shredder is also on display at the HSM stand. It instantly converts the bulky used cardboard packaging of goods delivered to you into a versatile, and more importantly, free packaging material. This then becomes highly effective in protecting your goods from the rigours of transport. Operating the conversion genius is child's play: the used cardboard is simply pushed into the feeder slot, drawn in by the cutter rollers and processed into a cardboard mat with an airy meshing structure. The corrugated cardboard is not only perforated but crumpled by special cutting shafts and also cut to the required width at the same time.
