A further highlight on the FachPack 2007 was the HSM ProfiPack 425. It instantly converts the bulky used cardboard packaging of goods delivered to you into a versatile, and more importantly, free packaging material. This then becomes highly effective in protecting your goods from the rigours of transport. Operating the conversion genius is, as demonstrated live on the HSM booth, a child's play: the used cardboard is simply pushed into the feeder slot, drawn in by the cutter rollers and processed into a cardboard mat with an airy meshing structure. The corrugated cardboard is not only perforated but crumpled by special cutting shafts and also cut to the required width at the same time.
