2007-09-03 - HSM with highlights on FachPack in Nuremberg

Once again it is time for FachPack, the trade fair for packaging solutions to open its doors from 25th to 27th September 2007 in Nuremberg. HSM GmbH + Co. KG, the Salem manufacturer of document shredders, cutting machines and baling presses will be presenting its interesting and latest machines from the HSM environmental technology product range in hall 3, stand 329.

 
One highlight of this year's FachPack is the HSM vertical baling press V-Press series where three of the machines will be displayed in a variety of versions. The smallest machine from the V-Press series is the V-Press 610 eco. This is a compact disposal solution for using on site, with a high pressing power of 120 kN and bale sizes which ensure optimal HVG load utilisation. The eco version consists of double doors with a hand wheel door lock.

Thanks to its powerful motor, its ergonomic design and its sophisticated and innovative technology, the HSM V-Press 820 plus combines all the advantages of a baling press into one machine. The plus version combines a loading cap with a hand wheel door lock.
Die V-Press 1160 max has a pressing power of up to 532 kN with a maximum bale weight of 550 kg and is the top model of the HSM V-Press series with its strong pressing power and an extremely high level of efficiency. The max version is equipped with a sliding door with a hydraulic door lock and an extra cover.
To optimise pressing and compensate for or prevent uneven filling, the V-Press 1160 eco is the first HSM machine with an inclination monitoring system for the press ram, known as the Torsion Control System (TCS). HSM placed great emphasis on developing a simple working unit. Innovation solutions were found for all elements essential for operator safety. The automatic start when the door closes means that the pressing process is fully automatic.
Due to its size, cost efficiency and capacity, the V-Press series is incredibly well-suited for industry, manufacturers and retailers alike. With this compact baling press you can reduce the volume of your on-site packaging material by up to 95%.

The HSM ProfiPack 425 cardboard shredder is also on display at the 50 m² HSM stand. It instantly converts the bulky used cardboard packaging of goods delivered to you into a versatile, and more importantly, free packaging material. This then becomes highly effective in protecting your goods from the rigours of transport.

Operating the conversion genius is child's play: the used cardboard is simply pushed into the feeder slot, drawn in by the cutter rollers and processed into a cardboard mat with an airy meshing structure. The corrugated cardboard is not only perforated but crumpled by special cutting shafts and also cut to the required width at the same time.
