2007-07-25 - HSM exhibits at the first recycling aktiv trade fair in Karlsruhe

For the first time, the recycling aktiv demonstration exhibition is on the airport grounds in Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden from 5th to 7th September 2007. And HSM will be also be there for the first time as one of the exhibitors at this event.

The HL 3521 S horizontal baling press with a pressing power of 320 kN is one of the highlights at the HSM stand which is approx. 150 m², directly opposite the main entrance. The HSM HL 3521 models reduce nearly all packaging material to a fraction of its original volume, up to a maximum of 95%. The HL 3521 S has been especially designed for compressing strongly expansive material such as foam and car tyres. With a powerful 22 kW drive, the very large filling hatch and 6-fold strapping with Quick-Link wire or polyester strapping, this machine is ideal for compressing troublesome materials.

Of course, other packaging materials can also be compressed. At the recycling aktiv trade fair, visitors can witness car tyres being compressed live.
  
Another highlight at the exhibition will be four machines from the vertical baling presses V-Press series. Starting with the small V-Press 610 eco with a pressing power of 120 kN to the largest V-Press 1160 max with a pressing power of 532 kN. A variety of different materials will be compressed in the machines, ranging from cardboard packaging to cardboard and paper to foil.

The max version is the highest level in the V-Press series and is equipped with a sliding door with a hydraulic door lock and an extra cover. HSM TSC (Torsion Control System) ensures the angle of the press ram is monitored continuously. This is installed in all models to prevent one-sided loads from occurring and optimise the pressing cycle. Some models have several special features, such as the automatic start once the doors are closed, followed by a fully automatic pressing cycle. When the pressing procedure comes to an end the sliding door opens automatically. Due to its size, cost efficiency and capacity, the V-Press series is incredibly well-suited for industry, manufacturers and retailers alike. With this compact baling press you can reduce the volume of your on-site packaging material by up to 95%.
