2006-08-29 - Creative freedom with the new HSM TA 3200 roller cutter

In January at the Paperworld fair in Frankfurt, HSM, the manufacturer of document shredders, cutting machines and baling presses, presented the new HSM TA 3200 roller cutter. The small multi-talent is now available for dealers.

The HSM TA 3200 roller cutter is not just for normal cutting of paper, film or other materials up to a cutting height of 0.6 mm which is the equivalent of about six sheets of paper. It is also designed for smaller-scale creative handicraft work. The HSM TA 3200 is supplied with a total of three different cutting heads for three different types of cutting - straight, wavy and perforated. The cutting heads are safely stored in a compartment which is built into the cutting table to save space.

The cutting heads are extremely easy to replace. After opening the cover of the cutting head holder, the cutting head can be easily pressed out. You can then select the right cutting head from the storage compartment and put it in the cutting head holder. Close the cover again and you can start working immediately. The cutting blade has a transparent plastic cover for optimum safety.

Intelligent and practical detailed solutions

Cutting couldn't be easier. The cutting material is kept firmly in place by the press rail and prevents it from slipping. The scale printed on the cutting table makes it easier to cut and provides extra convenience. When the cutting rail clicks into place, the user knows that the cutting material is firmly fixed and the roller cutter is ready to use. If the cutting rail is damaged due to long periods of use, it can be turned over to use the other side. If the other side has also been used, the cutting rail can be easily exchanged for a new one. There are two spare cutting rails supplied, each with a spare blade.
