2010-09-28 - HSM introduces new products at the FachPack trade fair in Nuremberg
HSM GmbH + Co. KG, the Frickingen-based manufacturer of document shredders, cutting machines, baling presses and PET solutions will be presenting the fascinating new machines from the HSM Environmental Engineering product range at the FachPack trade fair, in hall 3, stand 3-420, between 28 and 30 September 2010.
The stand will feature a true innovation in the HSM V-Press 860 L vertical baling press, which has a pressing power of 532 kN and quiet, energy-saving technology. This makes it an economical and environmentally friendly solution for all disposal jobs. The V-Press 860 L produces bales with a recess for easy transport without pallets, which makes it unique on the market for vertical baling presses. Special profiles in the bale ejection door, in the filling hatch and in the press ram form recesses in the bales. Thus the use of pallets is no longer necessary. The bales can be moved directly with a pallet truck or stacker.
A further novelty at the HSM trade fair stand is the AK 4014 V semi-automatic channel baling press, which has an integrated hydraulic lifting and tipping device that allows the press to be filled easily and conveniently. With a pressing power of 400 kN, it is the efficient disposal solution for compressing packaging material at retailers and dealers. The machine has a new and innovative cylinder design and all its control units on one side, so it can be placed in a corner, which leaves more free space in the aisle for manoeuvring pallets etc.
The HSM ProfiPack 425 cardboard shredder is also on display at the 50 m² HSM stand. It instantly converts the bulky used cardboard packaging from delivered goods into a versatile, and more importantly, free packaging material, which in turn becomes highly effective in protecting goods from the rigours of transport.
Operating this masterpiece is child’s play: the used cardboard is simply pushed into the feeder slot, drawn in by the cutter rollers and processed into a cardboard mat with an airy meshing structure. The corrugated cardboard is not only perforated but crumpled by special cutting shafts and also cut to the required width at the same time.
