2009-07-06 - Relaunch of the HSM website

The new website for HSM, the manufacturer of document shredders, cutting machines and baling presses from Baden, has been up and running since the beginning of July. The entire website has been redesigned and made into an international company portal. The main focus was on user-friendly navigation, additional functions and the new HSM corporate design.

For HSM the relaunch reflects a stronger service dimension for dealers, partners and customers. First and foremost, HSM wanted to provide a clear web portal which would deliver the required data and information at just a few mouse clicks. When implementing the relaunch, the whole focus was on the particular requirements of the HSM internet user. The result is an individual solution tailored to those requirements: clear layout, fast page reproduction, up-to-date news, intuitive navigation as well as an improved workflow for the editors.

 
You can now easily find almost all HSM products on the website along with their technical data and access the operating instructions and product videos directly if required. The product data is dynamic and database driven and meets PBS standards when processed. The aim of consistently using MDS is not just for the purposes of dealers and customer but to maximise all the possible synergies. Therefore, the HSM website is a successful example of integrating MDS and using it consistently both internally and externally.
 
The most important new features in the portal are the integration of the subsidiary websites, automatic data sheet production, improved shop functions via the commerce connector and optimised interactive communication with the customer.
